Writing
Writing is how Jess create new worlds, futures, possibilities, and ideas. Writing is how she grows and heals. As a writer, Jess feels it is her responsibility to influence positive change and center those left in the margins.
Moreover, writing is how Jess explores the issues of identity, intersectional feminism, decolonial history, and education. She obtained a Bachelors of Arts in English with a minor in Women Studies. During her undergrad, she was on the Speech and Debate team and won multiple awards for Persuasive Speech, Poetry, and Informative Speech.
